Frequently Asked Questions

A radio station won't play. What can I do?

Radio streams are hosted by third-party broadcasters and can occasionally be offline, change URL, or block certain regions. Try the following:

  • Check that you have a working internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
  • Try a different radio station — if other stations work, that station is likely temporarily down
  • Force-close and reopen the app
  • Make sure the app is updated to the latest version

If a specific station has been broken for several days, please email us with the station name and we'll investigate.

Audio cuts out or buffers a lot

Streaming requires a stable internet connection. Mobile data on a weak signal, or a congested Wi-Fi network, can cause buffering. Try switching networks or moving to an area with better signal. Some stations also broadcast at high bitrates that may not stream smoothly on slow connections.

How do I remove ads?

Some of our apps offer an optional in-app purchase or subscription that removes advertising. You can find it inside the app under the Settings or Premium section. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we do not see or store your payment information.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple or Google through your account settings:

  • iOS / iPadOS: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select the subscription → Cancel.
  • Android:Open Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select the subscription → Cancel.

Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current billing period. For refund requests, please contact Apple or Google directly through their account support.

My favorites disappeared

Favorites are stored locally on your device. Reinstalling the app, clearing app data, or switching devices will remove your saved favorites. We do not maintain user accounts, so favorites cannot currently be synced across devices.

Can you add a specific radio station?

Yes — we're always happy to add legitimate radio stations. Please email us with the station name, country, official website, and the public stream URL if you have it. We'll review and add it in the next catalog update.

A station is showing the wrong logo or name

Please email us the station name and a screenshot. Logos and names are sourced from the broadcasters and from our public catalog; we update them regularly.

Privacy and data

We do not require an account or personal information. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Reporting copyright concerns

Best Online Radio is a directory of publicly available, third-party radio streams; we do not host or rebroadcast audio ourselves. If you are a rights holder and believe a stream listed in our catalog should not be there, please email contact@bestonapps.com with the station name, the URL of the stream, and a description of your concern. We respond promptly to legitimate takedown requests.
